After lunch, embark on a boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, witnessing large hippo pods, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife, including the rare shoebill stork at the Delta point. After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before heading into the dense jungle. Gorilla trekking can take 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. Once you find them, you’ll spend an awe-inspiring one hour observing their behavior, social interactions, and sheer strength. After the trek, relax at your lodge or take a cultural visit to the Batwa pygmies, learning about their traditional forest life.
