3-Day From Zanzibar to Mikumi Park by Electric Train

Pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park and Maasai cultural village tour

Be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar at 5:00 a.m. by minibus and drive for one hour to the Dar es Salaam ferry terminal, heading towards Mikumi National Park.

You will be transferred approximately 10 minutes from the Dar es Salaam ferry terminal to the train station. You will then take the train (approximately 2 hours) to Morogoro Msamvu (the closest point to Mikumi National Park).

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a short drive of approximately 2 hours to the park and a game drive en route (safari) to a hotel. You will enjoy lunch, soft drinks, and breathtaking views at Chambo Villas, relaxing with refreshments by the pool. Later, around 4:00 p.m., you will enjoy an unforgettable visit to the Maasai Cultural Village until sunset.

You will then return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay before embarking on an unforgettable day of safari on day two.

A full day, unforgettable safari, with a great experience from sunrise to sunset

After breakfast at 6:00 a.m., your professional driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the main entrance of Mikumi to begin your full-day safari.

Your driver-guide will take you to the park's most visited sites, explain the wildlife, and allow you to explore the wilderness and observe numerous animals, including lions, elephants, leopards, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, impalas, African elands, hippos, crocodiles, and numerous birds, while showing you the park's magnificent landscapes. Later, you will enjoy a delicious bush lunch served with soft drinks in the park.

Continue your safari and explore the park until sunset. Take magnificent photos of the sunset over the savannah. Then, return to Chambo Villas for dinner and an overnight stay, before continuing the next day to Zanzibar.

Pick up from your hotel in Mikumi Park to Zanzibar

After breakfast at 6:30 am, you will be transferred from your hotel to Morogoro Msamvu Train Station, heading to Dar es Salaam. You will arrive around 11:45 am. We will take you to the ferry and depart for Zanzibar at 12:30 pm.

Upon arrival, our driver will drop you off at your hotel in Zanzibar.
