Nairobi to Amboseli – Wildlife & Mount Kilimanjaro Views

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, check into your lodge, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is home to large herds of elephants, as well as lions, cheetahs, zebras, and numerous bird species. As the sun sets, casting a golden glow over the savannah, return to the lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Exploring Amboseli National Park

You will wake up very early in the morning at 06h30 and embark on a morning game drive. Today will be a full-day game drive (06h30 to 16h00) within Amboseli National Park. Amboseli sits at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, and is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. It lies 150 miles southeast of Nairobi and is very close to the Tanzanian border. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rises above the clouds and dominates every aspect of this landscape.

You will then come back at 09h00 for breakfast and then relax or go on another game before lunch time.

Alternatively, after breakfast, you can carry a packed lunch and go on a game drive and explore the whole day, thus having a bush lunch to save time rather than coming back for lunch at the lodge.

Amboseli to Tsavo West

We'll enjoy an early breakfast before we check out of the lodge. We will have an en-route game drive as we exit Amboseli National Park and head for Tsavo West National Park. We will arrive in time for lunch and then enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of animals in this park, which is famous for its elephant and lion populations. Finally, we will drive to Ngulia Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
