Chobe National Park - Botswana

This tour starts from Chobe National Park. If you are staying in Victoria Falls or Livingstone, we charge an extra fee for transfers to the Campsite.

Today, you'll start with a morning boat cruise on the Chobe River, where you have the opportunity to get up close with birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, scores of elephants, and Cape buffalo make their way to the river to quench their thirst.

You'll enjoy lunch at Coffee Buzz restaurant. Then, you'll return to the park on a customized 4x4 game viewer for an afternoon game drive, which is the best time to see Chobe National Park’s large herbivores making their way down to the river. You'll head to camp after sunset for dinner around the campfire, and sleep in your tent under the African sky.

Chobe National Park

You'll wake up at dawn with a friendly Botswana “dumela” (good day). After breakfast, you'll head off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is best for finding the big cats or wild dogs, as they are still active at this time, and the chances of seeing them are good.

You'll return to the camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to read, rest, or take a refreshing shower. When the day starts to cool off, another afternoon game drive follows tea, and good sightings are revisited or areas as yet unexplored are visited. You'll return to the camp after sunset for a reflective fireside chat. Dinner follows, as always, accompanied by the unforgettable sounds of the African night. Pick-up times depend on the guide's best knowledge.

Chobe National Park

On your last day, you'll enjoy a dawn breakfast followed by an early morning game drive. You may be lucky and even spot a leopard! You'll return to the camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to take a refreshing shower and pack. You'll leave camp on a final boat cruise on the Chobe River, before heading back into Kasane/Kazungula.

This is the ultimate overnight camping experience and a wonderful opportunity to explore the best Chobe National Park has to offer!

Once done with the tour, you will also drop you off in Kasane. If you want a drop off in Livingstone or Victoria Falls, we will charge an extra fee for transfers.
