After breakfast, depart for an exciting day trip to Materuni Waterfall, located near the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival at the village, begin a scenic walking safari through lush landscapes, spotting chameleons, unique trees, colorful birds, insects, and tropical fruits along the way. Reach the stunning waterfall, fed by the forests of Kilimanjaro, where you can enjoy the fresh surroundings and take a refreshing swim (bring your swimwear).
Return to the village for a traditional coffee tour, learning about local coffee production, followed by a delicious hot lunch featuring authentic Chagga cuisine. Continue to Chemka Hot Springs, a beautiful natural oasis where you can swim in crystal-clear spring waters, with areas ranging from warm to cooler temperatures. Surrounded by fig trees and small fish, the springs offer a relaxing experience. In the late afternoon, drive back to Arusha for the evening.
