Day 1

You'll be picked up from the airport, ferry, or hotel and drive directly to Mikumi National Park. You'll stop at Morogoro for lunch. Then, you'll continue the journey to Mikumi National Park which takes almost 6 hours to Mikumi National Park. After arrival at Mikumi National Park, you will go directly for half game drive.

Embark on an exhilarating game drive where you’ll encounter Mikumi’s incredible wildlife. Spot majestic lions lounging under the shade, towering giraffes, herds of elephants, and swift wildebeests traversing the plains. Look out for elands, hartebeests, zebras, and buffaloes, along with the elusive wild dogs and a vibrant array of bird species that soar above. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Tanapa Mikumi Cottages.

Day 2

Full - Guided Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

Full - Guided Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

Early morning after breakfast. You will get to see the breathtaking sunrise in the beautiful skies stretching over the savannah, as you witness the animals stirring or heading back after a night hunt. It is another opportunity to catch a glimpse of the mighty lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebra, antelopes, warthogs, hippos, monkeys and a wide variety of birds.
You also get to enjoy a packed lunch inside the park then keep exploring the wilderness and engraving even more beautiful memories of the amazing Tanzanian wild animals.

Later, we return to Camp Bastian Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Enjoy a dip in the pool at the camp if that is how you like to freshen up.

After breakfast, depart for a scenic drive toward Udzungwa Mountains National Park for an exciting day hike to the spectacular Sanje Waterfalls. Known as the "Galapagos of Africa," the Udzungwa Mountains boast rich biodiversity and significant cultural and historical sites, including Magombereka Cave, Bokela, Mwanaruvele Cave, Ndundulu, and the mystical Nyumbanitu Mountains.

Enjoy a light game drive en route, arriving at Udzungwa in time for lunch. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the lush tropical rainforest, where you’ll trek through dense foliage, marvel at unique plant species, and listen to the enchanting sounds of the forest as you ascend to the breathtaking Sanje Falls. After an adventurous day, relax with dinner and an overnight stay at camp bastian mikumi.

After visiting a nearby village, you will start your journey to go back home.
