After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your safari adventure. You'll enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Named after the Tarangire River, the park is renowned for being the sole water source for wildlife during the dry season.
Tarangire is especially famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Covering 2,850 square kilometers, you'll spend the day exploring on game drives, with a picnic lunch by the river. In the evening, you will enjoy one final game drive before heading to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 2
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll depart from Mto wa Mbu for a scenic 5-hour drive to Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you'll stop at the Ngorongoro Crater for a brief 20-minute break to take in the stunning views from the viewpoint.
For a cultural experience, opt for a visit to a Maasai village, where you can learn about the Maasai people's rich heritage, including their history of lion hunting and their unique practices, such as drinking raw animal blood.
Arriving in Serengeti in the late afternoon, you'll embark on a game drive in the Seronera area, the heart of the Serengeti. You'll enjoy the breathtaking sunset and keep an eye out for wildlife, including the possibility of witnessing predators in action. You'll finish your day with a delicious meal at the lodge.

Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world, well known for its endless expansive plains and remarkable natural beauty. Covering more than 14,750 square kilometers, the park offers a vast and open landscape that supports a rich diversity of wildlife throughout the year. It is home to iconic animals such as lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeests that move across the plains in search of fresh grazing land.
The Serengeti’s ecosystems are incredibly diverse, ranging from wide savannah grasslands to riverine forests, rocky kopjes, and seasonal wetlands. These different habitats create ideal conditions for wildlife survival and make game viewing exciting and unpredictable. One of the most remarkable natural events in the park is the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras travel across the plains in a continuous cycle.

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic journey to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable safari experience. As the world’s largest unbroken and unflooded volcanic caldera, the crater represents the very peak of Ngorongoro’s natural beauty and geological wonder. Upon arrival, you will begin your descent into the crater floor, where you will explore its diverse and rich landscapes that support an incredible concentration of wildlife. The area is home to open grasslands, acacia woodlands, swamps, and seasonal water sources that attract a wide variety of animals throughout the year.
During your game drive, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and many bird species roaming freely in their natural habitat. A highlight of the visit is Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern part of the crater, often visited by flamingos and other water birds.

Day 5

After breakfast, you will head once again to Lake Manyara National Park for an exciting and memorable game drive through one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife areas. The park is well known for its rich biodiversity and offers excellent opportunities for bird watching, with hundreds of species found around the lake and forested areas. If you are fortunate, you may even spot the famous tree-climbing lions resting on the branches of acacia trees, a rare and fascinating behavior unique to this region.
During your visit, you will also explore the hippo pool, where you can observe hippos up close as they cool off in the water, as well as the natural hot springs located within the park. As you continue driving through different habitats, you may encounter large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, warthogs, monkeys, as well as impressive birds of prey such as eagles and vultures. This safari experience offers unforgettable views, diverse wildlife encounters, and a true connection with nature.

Today, you'll discover the breathtaking waterfalls, with your guide sharing fascinating insights into the Chagga people, their village life, and the surrounding flora and fauna. The views are stunning; if you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro’s summit.
The waterfalls, cascading over 80 meters, lead to a refreshing pool that's perfect for a swim—don’t forget to pack your swimwear! Afterward, you'll return to Materuni village for a traditional Chagga lunch, complete with a taste of local banana beer.
A highlight of the day is the coffee experience, where you'll learn to make and enjoy fresh coffee while listening to Chagga songs and dances.
Finally, you’ll drive back to Arusha and drop you off at your hotel, bringing your safari adventure to a close.
