This morning, we drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains, famous for its spectacular wildebeest migration. It is home to the Big Five - lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. Enjoy lunch at the camp and relax before departing for an afternoon game drive. Large mammals are varied and easy to see.

Home to the great migration, where each year between July and October millions of wildebeest thunder across the plains in search of fresh pasture, the Masai Mara is one of the most famous game reserves in the world. From November to June, the Masai Mara still has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, so the Big Five can all be ticked off your list on a visit here. You’ll also get to see huge pods of hippos basking in the rivers, cheetahs racing across the savannah and giraffes ambling between the acacia trees.

You will have breakfast at the lodge, and then drive to the border. After the border formalities, we'll drive to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It will be a long day of driving, but the afternoon game drives in Serengeti will be rewarding. Keep your eyes peeled for the magical Serengeti sunset.
Note: If you want to go on a morning game drive in Masai Mara on this day, let us know. From our experience, it is always a rushed drive, and you will arrive in Serengeti late in the evening.
Return for dinner and overnight at the camp.

The Serengeti is the home of endless plains and the great migration. Stretching across 1.5 million hectares of land, the Serengeti National Park is known for its impressive wildlife population, most notably the Big 5. It is perhaps more renowned for being part of the stage on which the annual great migration plays out. Each year, over 2 million wildebeest, a fair number of gazelles, and a small following of zebra, seek better grazing areas by migrating south in the Serengeti, going west and north into the Masai Mara before eventually returning.

Morning: We drive through the Ngorongoro conservation before descending, 610 meters down to the grasslands of the crater floor, an area of about 265 square kilometers. Despite its small size, the Crater is a Big 5 country and the openness of the terrain means easy and rewarding game viewing. You will spend 7 hours exploring the crater floor, stopping at a picnic on the grasslands amidst the grazing herds. Formed by a massive volcanic eruption, the world’s largest intact and un-flooded caldera provides a year-round home to an astonishing 25,000 large mammals including black rhino, along with Africa’s densest concentrations of hyena.
The Crater’s forests shelter elephants and buffalo, and its wetlands are home to hippos and flamingos while lions, jackals, leopards, and caracals make up the full range of predators. After lunch, you leave the crater behind and drive to Karatu
Evening: We’ll reach our carefully selected lodge, and you’ll have time to settle in before dinner.

Morning: Tarangire National Park is named after Tarangire River that flows through its borders. One of its main highlights undoubtedly the large herds of majestic elephants, who thrive in the abundant food source available, making them bigger, and stronger than in any other place.
The parks landscape is also filled with many ancient baobab trees some of which are believed to be over 700yrs old, which adds to the stunning beauty of the landscape.
Keep your eyes peeled as you explore the park, and you may also spot lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, waterbucks, and more than 400 bird spices have been recorded here.
Lunch: We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park.
Afternoon: After lunch, we’ll continue our game-viewing drive to witness the wildlife of Tarangire National Park. Afterwards, we’ll head to Arusha where our tour ends.
You will be dropped at the airport or your hotel.
