Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
In the morning, our dedicated safari guide will collect you from your accommodations in Arusha. We will embark on a journey to Tarangire National Park, traveling along a well-paved road that meanders through the gently undulating Maasai plains adorned with scattered acacia trees. As we proceed, you will observe numerous Maasai individuals in their vibrant attire, walking along the roadside, cycling, herding cattle, and maneuvering donkey carts. From the open roof of our modern safari jeep, we will explore the seasonal swamps, savanna, and the vital Tarangire River. Be prepared to encounter a variety of animals, including zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and giraffes, among others. There is a chance we may spot lions stalking their prey or leopards lounging in the trees above. Following our extensive game drive, where we will immerse ourselves in the rich sights and sounds of the wilderness, we will transport you to your lodging for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Karatu to Ndutu

Following breakfast, we depart from Karatu and make our way into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Our journey will take us through the Ngorongoro Highlands towards the Ndutu Area, where we will commence our game drive for the day, focusing particularly on the great migration. Between December and April, the herds of the great migration gather near Lake Ndutu, situated between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, where they can find fresh grazing and encounter formidable predators. January marks the onset of the calving season for wildebeests.

Day 4
Ndutu to Ngorongoro
Ndutu to Ngorongoro
Early in the morning after breakfast, we will enjoy the last game drive in Ndutu Area. Late in the afternoon, we will proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This UNESCO World Heritage Site formed millions of years ago with the massive explosion of a volcano once higher than Kilimanjaro is 610m deep and covers roughly 304sq km. It has a dense animal population of approximately 25 000 ungulates. After a final game drive in Ndutu, you will drive to your accommodation at the crater rim for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, we will descend inside Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see while on safari in Tanzania for its high density of wild animals. We will be able to see wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, elephant, and perhaps if we are lucky, black rhino through the grass. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Arusha.
