On the day of arrival you will be picked from Entebbe by on eof our trusted drivers and he will take you to your hotel in Entebbe.
The driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. Depending on the time of arrival you will have time to relax or explore Entebbe.

Day 2-4

From Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park inclusive Rhino tracking

From Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park inclusive Rhino tracking

The first stop will be at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will go for Rhino tracking.

At 6am the alarm goes off and at 7 you are on your way to spot the game in the park.
At 2pm the boat trip on the Nile starts, to the bottom of the Murchison Falls. This boat trip takes about 3 hours and during the tour you will see a lot of wild animals, such as Hippos, Buffalo, Crocodiles and perhaps some Elephants. For people who are in good physical condition there is the possibility to be deposited at the bottom of the Waterfall and to take a hike up, along the Waterval. This hike is pretty steep and slippery. After the boat trip / hike it is time for dinner at the lodge.

The next day you have a planned Boatride to the delta and the afternoon at leisure.

You will enjoy Kidepo Valley at it's bet during these two days full of wildlife.
At 06.00 Am the day will start and you will go for a sensational walking safari in Kidepo Valley National Park. During the walk you will go places where a safari vehicle is not able to reach. The views and scenery are amazing. After the walk you will enjoy a well deserved lunch at the centre of the park, Apoko. After lunch you wil go on a game drive to explore the park further and to see if you can get a glimpse of the many animals in the park.

The original inhabitants of the Karamoja region where the IK and the Tepeth. When the Karamajong migrated from Ethiopia in the 1600's the Ik where part of the original tribes living in the area. During the following centuries the Ik migrated to the mountains and develeoped their own cultural, tradition and language. Nowadays there is just a small group left living the traditional life style. The Ik are famous for their honey making skills. During the hike you will get a glimpse of the way the Ik live, and you will enjoy the exceptional flora and fauna of the area. The activity will take about 5 hours.

Transfer to Moroto via Nakapelemoru

Transfer to Moroto via Nakapelemoru

After breakfast you will drive to Kotido in about 2,5 hours during the drive you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery. In Kotido there is a planned visit to the largest traditional village in East-Africa, Nakapelemoru.
After the visit you continue to Moroto where you will chekcin a the lodge.
If time allows you can go for the sundowner hike on the slopes of Mt. Moroto and enjoy the sunset.

Today it is time to slowly leave Karamoja behind, end head for Mount Elgon. Mount Elgon is located exaclty on the border of Uganda and Kenya. On the Ugandan side there are beautiful waterfalls called Sipi falls. On your way to Sipi you will pass through several game reserves, like Pian Upe. The last few kilometeres will be climbing the mountain, and finally you end up at Rafiki lodge. This lodge is located near the falls and is very comfortable. You will enjoy the food and great facilities.

After waking up and having breakfast overlooking Sipi falls it is time to have a closer look. You will walk up to the bottom of the several falls, and to a small natural pool. After the hike it is time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch there will be a scheduled coffee tour taking you to the origin of one of the best coffee beans in the world.

To Jinja

Today you will drive to Jinja, a small town about two hours from Sipi falls. Jinja is known for its source of the River Nile and as the Adventure Captial of Uganda. Jinja is the place to be for the Advanturous traveler. You will check in at camp on the Nile around mid day. Here you can relax or do some sightseeing in Jinja.

Rafitng the Mighty River Nile is one of the most exciting activities you can do in Uganda, if not THE most exciting! After breakfast you will drive to the meeting point where you will get a brief meeting with the rest of the participants for the rafting trip. Since there is a new dam buit in the Nile you have to drive about 45 minutes to the starting point of the trip, downstream. There you will get instructions and off you go for the most epic trip of your life! Enjoy!

Today you will drive back to Entebbe with a stop over in Kampala, in about 2 hours. On your way going back you will pass Mabira forest. One of the last remaining parts of rain forest in Uganda. It is possible to do a last hike, this can be decided on spot. On your way you will stop in Kampala and go for a city tour and buy some souvenirs. During the city tour you will visit the big mosque ( build by Gaddafi) and the local market, called owino market. But you can also choose to just relax and go straight to the hotel.
