Nairobi- Moshi

You'll be picked up from Nairobi in the morning and driven to the Namanga border post for entry to Tanzania (or pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport). You'll proceed via Arusha to arrive at Moshi in the late afternoon for an overnight stay at Keys hotel BB. You'll enjoy scenic views along the way.

Moshi- Marangu

After breakfast, you'll leave Moshi in the morning and drive to Marangu gate. The Marangu Route, known as the "Coca-Cola Route," is the most accessible and well-established path to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. After arriving, you will start a 3-4 hour hike to Mandara hut at 2,720m. This is where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Marangu-Horombo

You'll wake up ready for another exciting hiking day. After breakfast, you'll start another hike for about 5-6 hours. You'll hike to Horombo hut at 3,720m. You'll relax, take a shower, and enjoy the evening. This is where you will have dinner and stay overnight. Prepare for the next day's hike.

Horombo- Kibo

You'll wake up relaxed and strong for yet another hiking experience. After breakfast, you'll take a 6-hour hike to Kibo hut, which is 4,750m. Arriving in the afternoon, you will have ample time to relax. You'll take a shower and enjoy the sunset. You'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Kibo- Uhuru Peak -Horombo

After a midnight tea/coffee, you'll start the hike to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro via Gilman point. Then, you'll continue to the summit, arriving at Uhuru Peak 5,895 early morning for sunrise views. After photos, you'll descend back to Kibo for breakfast and then hike down to Horombo for the night.

Horombo- Arusha

The great hike is coming to an end. After breakfast, you'll descend via Mandara hut to Marangu gate, where you receive the certificate of achievement for a job well done. Later, you'll drive back to Arusha for an overnight stay at Mt Meru hotel. BB. You'll enjoy a relaxing evening.

You'll leave Moshi after breakfast by shuttle bus to arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. ( Transfer to the JKIA).
