Fly to Nyerere National Park & Game Drive + Boat Safari

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for a scenic flight to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous). Upon arrival, meet your guide and set off on a thrilling game drive, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, and other wildlife. Enjoy a delicious bush lunch by the Rufiji River before continuing your exploration of the park’s diverse landscapes in the afternoon.

At around 4:00 PM, embark on a boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you will observe hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species while enjoying the peaceful river scenery. As the sun sets, arrive at your lodge or tented camp for a relaxing evening, dinner, and an overnight stay in the heart of the wilderness.

Full-Day Game Drive & Fly Back to Zanzibar

Start the day early with breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, exploring deeper areas of Nyerere National Park. This extended safari allows you to experience diverse landscapes including riverbanks, woodlands, and open savannahs, offering excellent chances to spot predators and large herds of wildlife. Enjoy a packed bush lunch during the drive while taking in the untouched wilderness. In the late afternoon, transfer to the airstrip and board your return flight to Zanzibar, Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.
