Upon your arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a friendly representative from Nasikia Safaris will be there to warmly welcome you. Look for a sign with your name or our company logo. After a brief introduction and welcome, you will receive a short but informative briefing about your upcoming safari experience, including what to expect, what to prepare for, and answers to any immediate questions you may have. From there, you will be comfortably transferred to your accommodation in Arusha, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner or explore the surroundings at your leisure. This overnight stay in Arusha serves as a perfect transition into your Tanzanian adventure, giving you time to rest and prepare for the unforgettable safari journey that awaits you starting the next day.

Day 2

After breakfast at your accommodation, you’ll be picked up by your private driver-guide and head to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s largest, covering 2,600 sq km. It is renowned for massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Visitors can expect to see over 300 elephants, large groups of buffalo, and healthy populations of lions and leopards. Wild dogs and rare antelopes such as gerenuk may also be spotted, along with more than 550 bird species. During the dry season, Tarangire boasts the highest concentration of mammals in Tanzania. You’ll enjoy picnic lunch boxes within the park, followed by more game viewing in the afternoon. After your safari experience, your driver will take you to your lodge in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at your accommodation, you will drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti, named from the Maasai word “Siringet” meaning “endless plains,” is the largest park in Tanzania’s northern circuit. Its rich volcanic soil and the annual migration make it one of the most productive ecosystems on Earth, home to the world’s highest concentration of large predators and a vast number of ungulates.

The park hosts animals such as elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalos, giraffes, warthogs, jackals, hartebeests, and more. The western corridor features the Grumeti River, valleys, and lush forests, while granite outcrops known as kopjes dot the plains.

After lunch and an exciting game drive, you will proceed to your carefully selected accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
