Upon your arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a friendly representative from Nasikia Safaris will be there to warmly welcome you. Look for a sign with your name or our company logo. After a brief introduction and welcome, you will receive a short but informative briefing about your upcoming safari experience, including what to expect, what to prepare for, and answers to any immediate questions you may have. From there, you will be comfortably transferred to your accommodation in Arusha, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner or explore the surroundings at your leisure. This overnight stay in Arusha serves as a perfect transition into your Tanzanian adventure, giving you time to rest and prepare for the unforgettable safari journey that awaits you starting the next day.

Day 2

After breakfast at your accommodation, you’ll be picked up by your private driver-guide and head to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s largest, covering 2,600 sq km. It is renowned for massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Visitors can expect to see over 300 elephants, large groups of buffalo, and healthy populations of lions and leopards. Wild dogs and rare antelopes such as gerenuk may also be spotted, along with more than 550 bird species. During the dry season, Tarangire boasts the highest concentration of mammals in Tanzania. You’ll enjoy picnic lunch boxes within the park, followed by more game viewing in the afternoon. After your safari experience, your driver will take you to your lodge in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast at your accommodation, you will drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti, named from the Maasai word “Siringet” meaning “endless plains,” is the largest park in Tanzania’s northern circuit. Its rich volcanic soil and the annual migration make it one of the most productive ecosystems on Earth, home to the world’s highest concentration of large predators and a vast number of ungulates.
The park hosts animals such as elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalos, giraffes, warthogs, jackals, hartebeests, and more. The western corridor features the Grumeti River, valleys, and lush forests, while granite outcrops known as kopjes dot the plains.
After lunch and an exciting game drive, you will proceed to your carefully selected accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

This region also offers opportunities to see predators in action as they hunt, as well as a variety of bird species unique to the area. Today, after enjoying a delicious breakfast, you'll depart early for Ngorongoro Crater, with a scenic game drive along the way. Ngorongoro is a breathtaking destination, renowned as one of East Africa’s premier wildlife spots, offering an exceptional chance to witness the Big Five. This World Heritage Site is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including over 25,000 animals, from hyenas to the rare black rhino, and countless bird species. As you reach the crater’s edge, a stunning 20 km-wide caldera unfolds, and you’ll descend into the crater on an adventurous trail, surrounded by spectacular wildlife. At a picturesque picnic spot near the hippo pool, you’ll enjoy a hot lunch before continuing your exploration of the crater. After breakfast, you'll drive directly to Lake Manyara National Park, a renowned destination for its Tree-Climbing Lions and vibrant birdlife. Home to over 500 species, Lake Manyara offers a fantastic opportunity to see diverse wildlife, with first-time visitors often spotting up to 100 species in a single day. The park features a stunning range of habitats, from its lush floodplain to acacia woodlands, where Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions can be spotted alongside impressive herds of elephants. Other wildlife you might encounter includes giraffes, zebras, hyenas, buffalo, hippos, and wildebeests. A delicious lunch will be served within the park, followed by more exploration.
