After breakfast you'll depart for Tarangire National Park, enjoying a scenic drive with a packed lunch for a thrilling game drive. Tarangire is home to the world’s largest concentration of elephants and boasts the highest number of bird species in East Africa. Particularly during the dry season, the park is teeming with wildlife. You may spot big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as rarer animals like the kudu, oryx, and gerenuk. The Tarangire River attracts large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, along with predators who follow them. After your break, you will continue your Safari to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, with an approximate drive of 3 hours. As you travel, enjoy the stunning landscapes that unfold before you rolling hills, scattered acacia trees, Maasai villages, and the vast open plains that define northern Tanzania. The route offers a preview of the natural beauty and wildlife that awaits, with occasional sightings of animals even before reaching the park gates. Upon arrival, you'll embark on an exciting afternoon game drive across the endless Serengeti plains, where you may encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, and the iconic wildebeest herds.
