Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival at Ol Kiombo Airstrip on your scheduled flight, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide, who will transfer you to the camp for check-in and lunch. Later in the afternoon, you have the option to embark on an evening game drive as the golden sun sets over the savannah and wildlife begins to settle in for the night, often gathering in groups.

Today offers an exciting opportunity to enjoy up to three game drives, increasing your chances of spotting the Big Five—though leopards may remain elusive in daylight due to their shy and solitary nature. A packed lunch for a full-day game drive is optional and can be arranged in agreement with your driver-guide, depending on the ground conditions, which may be influenced by heavy rains. Throughout the drive, your guide will stop at key sightings to share insights, while staying tuned to radio updates from fellow guides for new wildlife activity.

For an additional cost, you can enhance your experience with a breathtaking hot air balloon ride at dawn, offering panoramic views of the savannah. Alternatively, a visit to a local Maasai village can be arranged, providing rich cultural insight into the traditions and lifestyle of the indigenous Maasai people, who live in harmony with the surrounding wildlife.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

Enjoy your final breakfast in the heart of the bush before checking out of the camp. You will embark on a game drive en route to the local airstrip for your mid-morning flight back to Nairobi. Please note that late departures from the national reserve may incur additional charges due to the 12-hour park regulation.

If needed, drop-off transfers within Nairobi will be arranged as per your prior agreement.
