Pick Up and Transfer to Kibale National Park

On arrival in Uganda, you will transfer to Kibale National Park. Enjoy an en-route lunch along the way. Upon reaching Kabarole, check in at your accommodation. Refresh, relax, and enjoy dinner before retiring for the night. If needed, accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala can be arranged at an extra cost, depending on your arrival time.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Nature Walk

Start your day with breakfast before heading to the UWA headquarters. Here, you will receive a briefing on the chimpanzee tracking rules and regulations. Afterward, embark on your chimpanzee tracking adventure in the forest. You may also spot other monkeys, such as L’Hoest’s Monkey. Learn about the behaviors and lifestyle of these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.
After tracking, return to your accommodation for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, take a guided nature walk through the Bigodi Swamp. This area is home to diverse bird species, making it a great opportunity for birdwatching.
In the evening, return to your accommodation for dinner and rest.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. Along the way, you will stop for lunch. Upon arrival in Bwindi, check into your accommodation and relax. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in a tranquil environment.

Gorilla Tracking and Cultural Experience

On the fourth day, have an early breakfast and head to the UWA headquarters for a briefing on gorilla tracking. Afterward, go on a thrilling trek to encounter the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. During the tracking, learn about their behavior and way of life in the dense forest. Afterward, return to the lodge for refreshments and relaxation.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in a cultural experience with the Batwa people, the indigenous forest dwellers. You will learn about their traditional hunting methods, craft making, and enjoy music, dance, and drama performances.
End the day by returning to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation. You can also enjoy a night fire experience before bed.

Transfer to Kampala

On the final day, have a morning breakfast and check out of your accommodation. The driver will transfer you back to Kampala, where you will arrive by 4 PM East African time.
If you wish to stay an extra night in Kampala or Entebbe, you can make arrangements at an additional cost.
