Day 1

After breakfast, you will depart Nairobi and proceed north, driving past lush pineapple, tea and coffee plantations to Sweetwaters Serena Camp, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you will visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the sanctuary for black rhino.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 90,000-acre wildlife conservancy situated between the foot hills of the Aberdares and the snowcapped Mount Kenya. The conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals including the non-indigenous chimpanzees and the big 5 (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion). The combination of wildlife and stunning views across the open plains guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.

Day 2

Leave after breakfast and drive to L. Elementaita Serena located in Soysambu Conservancy to arrive in time for lunch at the camp. Afternoon game drive.
The Conservancy protects many bird species and wild animals. Rothschild giraffes have found a safe haven for breeding here, while a diverse variety of terrain shelters many species – from herds of giant elands to tiny dik-diks and cliff-dwelling klipspringers. Night game-drives also offer a unique opportunity to spot nocturnal creatures including the curious-looking aardvark and elusive leopard. Guided walks are allowed, with chances to experience the miracles of the bush close-up.

Day 3

You will have an early morning breakfast at the camp before checking out and departing Lake Elementaita for Masai Mara with packed lunch. Upon arrival at the park, you will have an en-route game drive to the lodge, in search of lions, cheetahs, elephants, and buffalos among others.

Day 4
Maasai Mara National Reserve

A very early morning game drive in the Masai Mara – the ideal time to see game as temperatures are cooler and hopefully lion, cheetah and leopard will be roaming the vast grasslands in search of prey. Return to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the morning at leisure or partake in optional activities, a visit to Masai village to see their nomadic life this at extra cost. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive to get a closer look at the Mara and to look out for the ‘Big 5 ‘. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Alternatively, instead of a morning and afternoon game drive, you can opt for a full day game drive. In this case, you will take an early breakfast, then leave the lodge carrying parked lunch in picnic boxes. You will spend full day exploring the vast plains inhabited by a great variety of big game and plains animals.

Day 5
Maasai Mara / Nairobi

After breakfast, you will check out of the camp/lodge and leave for Nairobi, where upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or airport. Thus, ending your wonderful safari with us!
