Nairobi to Meru National Park

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be picked up by our driver-guide and driven through the Central Highlands of Kenya, arriving at Meru National Park. You will arrive for check-in and lunch at Ikweta Safari Camp. After lunch, you will have an afternoon to evening game drive in the park in search of wildlife. Later, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full day spent in Meru National Park

The full day is spent in Meru National Park, with a full-day game drive searching for the vast wildlife evident in the park. All meals and overnight are at Ikweta Safari Camp. On this day, you can choose to have a full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes in the park, or a morning and evening game drive with a lunch break in between.

Meru National Park to Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast at Meru National Park, you will drive to Samburu National Reserve. You will arrive in time for check-in and lunch at Samburu Simba Lodge. After lunch, you will have an afternoon to evening game drive in the reserve in search of the wildlife and the special Samburu Special Five (Grevy's zebra, gerenuk, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe).

After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full day in Samburu National Reserve

You can spend the full day in the reserve in search of the vast wildlife and the Samburu Special Five (reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, gerenuk, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich). You can choose to have a full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes, or a morning and afternoon to evening game drive with a lunch break in between. You can also opt to visit the Samburu village to learn about the culture of the Samburu people.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, you will depart and drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, with an en-route game drive. You will arrive at Sweetwaters Serena in time for check-in and lunch. After lunch, you will have a game drive in the privately-owned conservancy and also get a chance to visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary before returning to the camp for dinner and overnight.
