After breakfast, you’ll depart Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in about two hours. Set at the base of the Great Rift Valley, the park is a lush and scenic gem known for its varied landscapes and rich wildlife.

One of Manyara’s most unique attractions is its tree-climbing lions. These rare lions are often spotted lounging in acacia trees a behavior seen in few places across Africa. Catching a glimpse of them resting above ground is a truly special experience.

As you explore the park, look out for elephants, zebras, giraffes, and even cheetahs. Birdlife is abundant too, with flamingos and storks dotting the lake’s edge.
