At 7am, your guide will pick you up from your lodge to start your journey with an early departure from Kampala. Along the drive to Bwindi, you'll take in the scenic views of Uganda's countryside, with a stop at the Equator for photos, a quick experiment, and bathroom breaks.
Lunch will be enjoyed along the way, often in Mbarara or another town, depending on how you feel.
You will arrive at your lodge near Bwindi in the late afternoon or evening, where you'll check in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Gorilla Habituation Experience
Gorilla Habituation Experience
Start your day early with breakfast at 6 a.m., then head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla habituation etiquette, covering the essential dos and don'ts while in the forest with these magnificent gorillas. After meeting your park guides, who will assist you throughout the experience, you'll join researchers, trackers, and rangers to spend up to four hours observing and interacting with a semi-habituated gorilla family, helping them adjust to human presence. It's an extraordinary chance to learn about gorilla behavior, their social dynamics, and vital conservation efforts. Afterward, return to your lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay.

Day 3
Transfer back to Kamapala
Transfer back to Kamapala
After breakfast in the morning, you check out of your rooms begin the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Along the way, enjoy the scenic views and perhaps make another stop at the Equator. You arrive at your lodge in the evening, marking the end of your safari. We hope to see you again for another adventure, as Uganda has so much more to offer.
