Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve

Pick up from your Nairobi city hotel or Jomo Kenyatta Airport early in the morning. Begin the 5-6 hour drive to Masai Mara, passing through the stunning landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in the Mara by mid-afternoon, check in at your accommodation, and have lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in the Masai Mara, exploring the vast savannah and spotting wildlife such as lions, elephants, and wildebeest. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Full day in Masai Mara

Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch the predators in action. The Mara’s early morning hours are perfect for sightings of lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Return to your lodge for breakfast, followed by a midday break. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive to further explore the park’s vast plains. Depending on the time of year, you may have the chance to witness the Great Migration or other seasonal wildlife events. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart Masai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru, approximately 4 hours away. Upon arrival, check in at your accommodation and have lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its large flamingo population and the possibility of spotting the endangered black and white rhinos. You’ll also find buffalo, giraffes, and various bird species around the lake. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
