Upon arrival, the guide will pick you up from the airport, then start driving towards the South with a stopover on the way for a visit to the King’s palace in Nyanza. Learn about the various ancient traditions of Rwanda, get familiar with Inyambo, the long horned royal cows, and the life in the palace before and after colonialism. Then head to your beautiful lodge getting ready for the exclusive chimpanzee trek next day.

Day 2
Colobus Monkeys trek - Canopy walk
Colobus Monkeys trek - Canopy walk
On this day you’ll head into the national park for Colobus monkeys trekking;
after briefing, start the walk in search of these rare apes that inhabit Nyungwe
National Park. As you explore the tangled wild ancient forest, you may have
a chance to spot and sight the species inhabiting this home, and
the different varieties of birds. After lunch, do the Canopy walk on one of the highest
and the longest bridge in Africa. From there, you can really
feel how massive and magnificent this Natural Forest is.

Day 3
Lake Kivu - Kayak/Congo Nile Trail - Night Fishing

Embark on a drive towards kibuye to visit Napoleon Island, a beautiful island in lake Kivu which is a home to a wide variety of birds, bats and plants. There you will enjoy a short hike, and the great Lake Kivu view from the hilltop. Then you will do an activity of your choice either:
you will enjoy a peaceful Kayaking on Lake Kivu, paddling through the calm waters, feeling the breeze and taking
in soothing water sounds and wonderful views. OR
Begin hiking the famous Congo Nile Trail, the trail allows you to explore local communities, including villages, churches, and schools through the tropical Kivu Belt Region on the shores of Lake Kivu and interact with the locals to appreciate their way of life. From here you will head to your unique lodge for a short refreshment then late in the afternoon just before the sun comes down join the fisherman with their traditionals boat heading out for their daily night fishing accompanied with their unique songs.

Day 4
Twin Lakes

Enjoy breakfast with the lake Kivu view then start driving towards the impressive volcanoes for the twin lakes in the area. Once you arrive, visit the twin lakes starting with a beautiful view point where you will go for a walking tour around the twin lakes interacting with the locals and have an insight of their daily life activities next to the lake and enjoy a boat ride in one of the lakes surrounded by the volcanoes. Then head to your beautiful lodge for dinner and a night over getting ready for a beautiful experience the next day.

Day 5

Early in the morning head to the park headquarters for a briefing and start a great adventure of golden monkey trekking in search of the monkeys known for their unique golden fur and the large hoops. Once located, spend time with them as you watch these cheeky playful monkeys feed on the nearby flora as you film them. Afterwards visit the Dian Fossey center in Kinigi, one of the living memories of Dian Fossey and learn a lot regarding mountain gorillas and their conservation, as well as Dian’s dedicated lifelong pursuit of their safety. Have insights on mountain gorillas and their protection, forest rehabilitation and study about her life in the volcanic mountains through exposition. Afterwards, cross over to Uganda to rest before the upcoming gorilla trekking.

Day 6

In the morning, head to the park office for a briefing and start a once in a lifetime adventure with some of the most powerful, amazing, rare and gentle human-like animals. After briefing, where you learn about your assigned gorilla family, head into the park for trekking. Once located, spend time with them as you see them eat, play around, and take pictures of them. You will stay for only an hour for conservation reasons before returning back for lunch and reflecting on this once in a lifetime experience. Visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience. Engage with the locals of Batwa people, the indigenous native people of the forest, learning about their unique culture, art, music, and history; and joining in their usual cheer and joy.

Day 7

Embark on a whole morning drive towards the
impressive Lake Mburo, there you will go for a walking
safari with an armed guide, enjoy the landscape tour
among zebras, giraffes, and different antelopes check in
into your lodge with a beautiful view, enjoy your dinner
and a night over.

Day 8
Kibale National Park - Chimpanzee Trek

A farewell breakfast followed by a beautiful drive to Kibale forest national park,
a home with the most concentration of chimpanzees in Uganda here you will head to the park offices for a briefing then be allocated a group with which you will trek the chimpanzees. You will meet these rare apes that are closest to humanity in nature while they are eating, playing, jumping, as you enjoy an afternoon trek. From here you will drive to your hotel, enjoy your dinner and your night over.

Start your day with a scenic drive towards Murchison falls for a close up admiration of the world's strongest falls. Along the way you will stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary which is a home to the southern white rhinos for an experience of close watching these amazing animals and a chance to observe their beauty and behavior. After lunch, proceed to Murchison falls, hike to the top of the falls and enjoy its breathtaking top view before heading to the lodge for a relaxing overnight stay.

Enjoy a morning bush breakfast, proceed with
a game drive in search of predators hunting in
the early morning hours and the beautiful bird
watching experience. After lunch, enjoy a boat
ride on the bottom of the falls, which will give you
an unforgettable chance of seeing magnificent
aquatic birds and other animals inhabiting the falls.

Transfer to Entebbe - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - Depart
Transfer to Entebbe - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - Depart
A farewell breakfast to hit the road and drive to Entebbe where you'll go straight to the rhino sanctuary for a safari walk next to one of the most rare animals from the big 5; Ziwa Rhino sanctuary which is a home to 32 southern white rhinos for an experience of tracking these amazing animals on foot and a chance to inspect them. From here you will drive straight to the Airport for your flight back home.
