When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our office representative will meet you and drive you to Arusha, where you will spend the night at the Kibo Palace Hotel. If the skies are clear, you may be able to see the peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Tarangire National Park with lunch boxes in hand. Known for its large herds of elephants, Tarangire is also home to buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, and the stunning waterbuck antelope. From the window seat and the pop-up roof of your 4x4 safari vehicle, you'll have the best view to enjoy this magical day. Tarangire is one of the most well-known and popular national parks in Tanzania's northern circuit. You can immerse yourself in its unique scenery on this one-day safari, which features savannahs scattered with mystical baobab trees and the majestic Tarangire River.

Tarangire National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

In the morning, you will be picked up in Karatu and driven to Ngorongoro. Descend into the crater and spend the entire day game driving. In addition to lion prides, including striking black-maned males, this is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhinos. A wide range of aquatic birds and colorful flamingos can also be spotted. The crater is home to various antelope species, small mammals, hyenas, leopards, and cheetahs. Later in the day, you will return by car to Karatu.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After breakfast, your driver will help you collect your belongings and then drive you to the airport for your flight home. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a brief stop at the vibrant Maasai Market to pick up some last-minute souvenirs or visit the Cultural Heritage Centre to explore local art, crafts, and history. It’s a nice way to enjoy a final glimpse of the culture before concluding your adventure.
