3-Day Ol Pejeta Safari by African Landmark

Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Your tour starts with a pickup at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and departs for Ol Pejeta, which is approximately a 3.5- to 4.5-hour drive from Nairobi. Arrive in Ol Pejeta around noon, check into your lodge or camp, have a hot lunch and then depart for your first afternoon game drive.

Ol Pejeta is home to the "Big Five" animals (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes). After the game drive, we head back to the lodge or camp, arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 PM. We freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, before our overnight stay.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Today's itinerary is flexible, and you can discuss it with your guide the previous evening to plan your schedule for today. You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive around 9:00 AM, with a packed lunch, and return to the lodge late in the afternoon, around 6:00 PM. Otherwise, you can depart at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive, the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness a hunt or kill. Later return to the accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit, and depart on an afternoon game drive with a packed lunch. You will stop at a picnic spot for lunch. Then, you will continue the game drive until the park closes. At around 6:00 PM, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ol Pejeta to Nairobi

Wake up early in the morning and embark on a final early morning game drive to maximize your wildlife viewing opportunities. Look out for any wildlife you may have missed earlier. Continue with game drives till around 9:00 AM and then head back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, check out of camp and proceed to Nairobi, arriving around 5:00 PM.
