After a smooth transfer to Arusha (approximately 1–1.5 hours), you’ll check in to your comfortable hotel nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, with views of lush gardens or the distant peaks. Depending on your arrival time, you may opt to relax at the lodge, enjoy a freshly brewed Tanzanian coffee, or explore a bit of Arusha town—a hub of culture and safari preparation.

This day is dedicated to a fascinating cultural immersion
Join the Hadzabe bushmen on a traditional hunt using bows and arrows. Learn about their hunter-gatherer lifestyle, one of the last remaining in the world.
Visit the Datoga blacksmiths and observe how they forge tools and jewelry using age-old techniques. You'll also see their beautifully beaded attire and traditional mud-and-stick houses.
In the late afternoon, enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Lake Eyasi during sunset. As the sun begins to set over the alkaline lake, return to your lodge for a relaxing evening under the stars, with the sounds of nature surrounding you.
