Day 2

At 7:00 AM, your driver will pick you up from Arusha, and after a quick briefing from your professional guide, you'll begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. The 2-hour drive takes you through beautiful landscapes, offering views of vast grasslands dotted with ancient baobab trees, traditional Maasai huts, and livestock being herded by the Maasai people.
As you arrive in Tarangire, you’ll experience the park’s unique wildlife, including the largest population of African elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and tree-climbing pythons. After a picnic lunch, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to the peaceful Migombani Campsite, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night, surrounded by the African wilderness.

Today, you’ll travel from the central Serengeti to the northern region, specifically the Kogatende area. Today, we bid farewell to the Northern Serengeti and head toward the stunning Lake Natron, passing through Klein’s Gate as we leave the Serengeti behind. The drive offers a scenic journey across varied landscapes, from the vast plains of the Serengeti to the rugged beauty of the Great Rift Valley. As you approach Lake Natron, the landscape transforms into a strikingly unique environment, characterized by the lake’s surreal, reddish waters and the surrounding volcanic mountains.
Upon arrival, you’ll have time to relax in the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, we’ll take you to the shores of Lake Natron, known for its stunning beauty and importance as a breeding ground for lesser flamingos. Watch as thousands of these vibrant pink birds gather along the lake, creating a breathtaking scene. The evening light over the lake adds to the magic, offering excellent opportunities for photography. It’s a tranquil yet captivating end to a day filled with incredible landscapes and wildlife.

After breakfast, we’ll start the day with a visit to the stunning waterfalls near Engaresero, a beautiful spot in the area. Next, we’ll visit a traditional Maasai boma, where you’ll have the chance to learn about Maasai culture, customs, and daily life. After these enriching experiences, we’ll continue our drive back to Arusha, passing through picturesque landscapes along the way. You’ll arrive in Arusha by the afternoon, with time to relax and reflect on your amazing safari adventure before your departure.
