Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast at the lodge, your journey continues with a drive to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder is home to an extraordinary variety of East African wildlife, and with a bit of luck, you may even spot the rare black rhino. Spanning roughly 20 kilometers in diameter, the crater offers a rich and immersive safari experience, typically explored over a six-hour game drive. Midday, you’ll enjoy a packed lunch at the scenic Ngoitoktok picnic site, overlooking a hippo-filled lake. Later, you’ll continue your game viewing before returning to the lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

This morning, after enjoying breakfast, you’ll head out toward Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its rich biodiversity and stunning scenery, the park offers a chance to encounter a wide variety of wildlife including flocks of birds, playful baboons, elegant giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, and majestic elephants. If fortune favors you, you may even witness the park’s iconic tree-climbing lions. The landscape is a striking mix of open grasslands, dense forests, and escarpments adorned with towering baobab trees. After an adventurous game drive, you’ll proceed to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar concluding your unforgettable journey.
