Afterward, unwind and enjoy a delicious dinner. You’ll then settle in for a relaxing overnight stay at a comfortable lodge, preparing for the exciting adventures ahead.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic two-and-a-half-hour drive. Named after the Tarangire River—lifeline to many animals in the dry season—the park is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Along the riverbanks and open plains, you may also spot giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, bushbucks, hartebeests, and predators such as lions and leopards.

Tarangire is also a haven for bird lovers, with more breeding species recorded here than anywhere else in the world. The ancient baobabs dotting the landscape add to the park’s unique beauty, some estimated to be over a thousand years old. Lunch will be enjoyed at a designated picnic site inside the park, surrounded by nature. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing and photography, you’ll continue to Karatu town. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge, relax, and enjoy dinner as you prepare for the adventures ahead.
