Cape Town to Inverdoorn – Scenic Drive & Sunset Safari

Pickup: 7:30 AM from your Cape Town accommodation or airport.

You'll depart Cape Town via the iconic N1 route, passing through the beautiful Cape Winelands.

You will stop for coffee and photos at Du Toitskloof Pass —admire stunning views of the Drakenstein mountains.

You'll drive through the Bainskloof Pass or Mitchell’s Pass (depending on weather), with views of cascading cliffs and lush valleys.

You'll arrive in Ceres, a town known for its fruit orchards and mountains. Quick refreshment stops.

You'll enter the semi-desert Klein Karoo region and arrive at Inverdoorn Game Reserve around midday.

Afternoon:

You'll check into your luxury lodge, unwind with lunch, and relax by the pool or lounge.

You'll enjoy a late afternoon game drive (approx. 3 hours) with a professional ranger in an open 4x4 vehicle. Spot elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffalo, and more.

Enjoy sunset drinks in the bush (weather permitting).

Evening:

You'll return to the lodge for a three-course dinner.

Sunrise Safari & Scenic Return to Cape Town

You'll wake up early for coffee/tea and rusks, followed by a sunrise game drive.

You will capture incredible morning light and active wildlife.

Optional cheetah encounter (subject to availability and ethics policy).

You'll return for a hearty breakfast at the lodge.

Late morning:

You'll check out and begin your return journey to Cape Town.

You'll have a scenic route through Hex River Valley, with optional photo stops at fruit orchards, mountain viewpoints, and local farm stalls.

Drop-off: Approx. 4:00 PM at your accommodation or Cape Town International Airport (flexible depending on your schedule).
