1-Day Trekking Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park

Your day kicks off early, with a 4:20 am departure and a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park, home to majestic mountain gorillas. Upon arrival in Musanze, you'll receive a briefing at the park headquarters and be guided by experienced rangers as you trek through the forest to find these incredible creatures. You'll be allocated a gorilla family, with some groups offering easier hiking routes. As you trek, take in the breathtaking misty views of the surrounding mountains before meeting your gorilla hosts. After the trek, enjoy lunch at a local hotel in Musanze before heading back to Kigali, arriving late afternoon or evening, marking the end of an unforgettable adventure.
