Transfer to Selous & Sunset Boat Safari

Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Dar es Salaam at around 08:00 Am, heading southwest through scenic countryside toward Selous Game Reserve. The drive takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. On arrival, you’ll check into your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the late afternoon, embark on a relaxing boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you’ll spot hippos, crocodiles, and possibly elephants drinking at the banks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay on the banks of Rufiji river.

After an early breakfast, you’ll spend a full day exploring the untamed landscapes of Selous on a game drive in an open-roof safari vehicle. With a packed lunch to enjoy in the wilderness, you’ll cover different ecological zones, spotting elephants, giraffes, buffalos, lions, zebras, and more. Your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating facts about the wildlife and ecosystem. After a long day in the wild, return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Game Drive & Chemka Hotspring

After breakfast from the camp/lodge with packed lunch, enjoy last day game drive inside Selous game reserve with the great chance to see animals which you didn’t see in previous day, take your lunch during afternoon then proceed with game drive, Then, you will be taken to Chemka hot spring where by you will be able to see natures hot flow of water and a nice place for swimming. After your full day adventure you'll be transferred back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Bush Walk, Village Tour & Departure to Dar es salaam

Start the day with an early morning walking safari led by an armed ranger, offering you the rare opportunity to explore the African bush on foot and learn about animal tracks, plants, and smaller wildlife often missed during drives. After the walk, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. Later at 10:00Am you’ll leave for an eye opening cultural village tour for approximately 2 hours then you will head back to the lodge for your afternoon lunch and you will have ample time to relax. Then you'll check out beginning the drive back to Dar es Salaam. You’ll arrive in the city by late afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable Selous budget safari experience.
