2-Day In Mikumi and Udzungwa Mountains from Dar

An amazing moment in Mikumi National Park

You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel in Dar then drive to the train station where you will board the 8 am train to Morogoro arriving at 9.25 am. Our driver will pick you up from the station heading to Mikumi where you will arrive at approximately 11.30 am. You will then have a short game drive before you stop for lunch inside the park. The lunch is served in a buffet so you have a wide choice of food favorable for vegetarians too. After lunch you will continue with your drive and have an evening drive too before leaving the park heading to your lodging, Camp Atupele at 6 pm. The camp has a swimming pool where you can spend your time swimming and have dinner.

Mountain climbing in Udzungwa Mountains National Park

Wake up early and have breakfast then leave for Udzungwa Mountains around 7 am in the morning. Arriving at the gate you will be met by our mountain guide. The hike takes at least 7 hours i.e. 3 hours going up and 3 hours going down with an hour to spend at the top. Your lunch will be packed from the camp. Later in the day you will start heading back to Morogoro where you will catch the 7.25 pm train back to Dar and you will also be dropped back to your hotel or at the airport.
