Iringa to Ruaha National Park

After breakfast, drive to Ruaha National Park, Tanzania’s largest national park and a hidden gem. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation inside or near the park and enjoy an afternoon game drive with your guide. Spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly predators like lions and leopards.

Full Day Game Drive in Ruaha

Spend the whole day exploring Ruaha on game drives. The park is home to large prides of lions, massive herds of elephants, and an incredible variety of birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue your adventure until late afternoon.

Ruaha to Iringa isimila

Early morning short game drive in Ruaha National Park. After 3–4 hours of exploring key areas near the lodge and riverbanks, return to the lodge for a late breakfast. After freshening up and check-out, begin the drive back to Iringa town.

Arrive in Iringa by afternoon and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, head to the nearby Isimila Stone Age Site for a guided walking tour among the towering sandstone pillars and ancient archaeological finds. Learn about early human history and enjoy scenic views during golden hour.
