Your adventure begins as your private guide meets you at Kigali International Airport. After a warm welcome, you’ll have the option to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a poignant site dedicated to the victims of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide against the Tutsi.
Following your visit, you'll embark on a scenic drive northwest through lush hills and vibrant market towns, taking approximately 2.5 hours to reach the stunning Volcanoes National Park.

Once the briefing is complete, you will set off on your exciting golden monkey trek into the lush rainforest. Known for their playful and lively behavior, you will have the opportunity to observe these charming primates in their natural habitat, enjoying their acrobatics and social interactions.
After your trek, return to your lodge for some relaxation before enjoying dinner, reflecting on the day's adventure.

Day 3
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll check out and embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy the picturesque views of the Ugandan landscape during your journey.
Upon arrival in Bwindi, you will check into your lodge. The rest of the day is at your leisure, allowing you to relax or perhaps engage in some optional activities, such as visiting local communities or nature walks.

Day 4

Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge before proceeding to the ranger station for a briefing on gorilla trekking and best practices during your encounter.
Accompanied by a senior ranger guide, you will trek into the dense forest in search of a family of mountain gorillas. The hike may vary in difficulty depending on the location of the gorillas, but it's a rewarding experience. Once located, you’ll have an hour to observe these incredible creatures from a safe distance of approximately 10 meters, making for unforgettable photographic opportunities.
After this awe-inspiring encounter, you’ll return to your lodge to unwind and reflect on the day’s adventure.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, you’ll set off on a morning game drive through the Kasenyi Plains, a prime location for observing predators. You’ll have excellent chances to spot animals like jackals, bushbucks, forest hogs, buffalo, and elephants.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise which is optional on the Kazinga Channel. This memorable experience allows for close-up views of the diverse wildlife and birdlife that flock to the channel to drink. After the cruise, you will embark on an evening game drive before returning to your lodge for the night.

Begin your final day with a walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park, an exceptional way to immerse yourself in nature and see wildlife up close. You may encounter species like warthogs, topis, impalas, duikers, bushbucks, waterbucks, and zebras.
After returning to the lodge for breakfast, you’ll transfer back to Entebbe, concluding your incredible journey. Your guide will drop you at your planned destination or transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
