Heartfelt Serengeti Safari

We spent the whole day out on safari, exploring the areas around the Seronera and Mara Rivers, both packed with wildlife. We followed the action along the water’s edge watching wildebeest nervously gather for a river crossing, spotting crocodiles (some seriously massive!) lurking nearby, and even catching a glimpse of a cheetah on the hunt.

Lions were out and active too, and we saw a giraffe silhouetted perfectly against the horizon one of those classic Serengeti moments you never forget.

Our guide took us off the usual tracks into quieter spots, giving us a more up-close and personal feel of the park. Since we followed the migration route, we got lucky with some amazing sightings all day long.

As the sun began to set, we made our way back to Serengeti Wild Camp, where a warm dinner and the sounds of the wild were waiting. Another epic day in the Serengeti!

Throughout the day, we explored various landscapes, observing the intricate balance between predator and prey. We spotted cheetahs in action, zebras grazing, and gazelles darting across the plains.

The highlight of the day came when we arrived at the river, where Nile crocodiles basked on the shore, patiently waiting for their next opportunity.
