Your unforgettable adventure begins early as a driver picks you up from your Zanzibar hotel—time tailored to your location—and takes you to the airport for your flight to Arusha, scheduled to arrive around 9:15 AM. There, your friendly guide will be waiting to welcome you.

From Arusha, settle in for a stunning 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famed for its massive elephant herds and towering baobab trees—some of the oldest and largest in Africa. You’ll ride in a comfortable open-roof safari vehicle, perfect for soaking in the breathtaking views of lush swamps, sweeping savannahs, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River.

This spectacular park bursts with life—from giraffes and zebras to lions, leopards, impalas, and warthogs. Over 500 bird species and the iconic elephants make this a true safari gem. After an awe-inspiring day of game viewing, unwind at your lodge with a delicious dinner and a serene overnight stay.

Closing the Safari Circle - Ngorongoro to Zanzibar Return

After an early breakfast, your final day with Bavuma Wild Quest takes you deep into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, in search of the rare black rhino—one of Africa’s most elusive icons. Known as Africa’s “Noah’s Ark,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to elephants, lions, hyenas, zebras, and a stunning range of wildlife coexisting in a dramatic natural amphitheater.

Pause for lunch by the peaceful hippo lake, surrounded by the sounds of the wild, before one last exhilarating game drive as you ascend the crater rim.

With hearts full and cameras fuller, return to the lodge, check out, and make your way to Kilimanjaro Airport for your evening flight to Zanzibar.
