Day 2

After breakfast, head out for a cultural and nature-filled day at Materuni Village, nestled on the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Begin with a guided hike through scenic banana and coffee farms to reach the stunning Materuni Waterfalls, where you can enjoy the refreshing spray and take in the tranquil beauty of the forest.

After the hike, visit a local Chagga household for a hands-on coffee-making experience—from bean to cup—using traditional methods. After an early breakfast, depart Moshi and begin your journey westward toward Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive through rural landscapes, passing Maasai villages and rolling hills along the way. Arrive at Tarangire in time for a game drive in this breathtaking park, famous for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and seasonal migration of wildebeests and zebras.

The Tarangire River draws animals from across the region, offering incredible opportunities for wildlife viewing. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue exploring until late afternoon, with chances to spot lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and over 500 bird species.
