Johannesburg to Pilanesberg Game Reserve

5:30 AM - 6:30 AM: You'll have a comfortable pick up from Johannesburg in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle owned and operated by MoAfrika Tours. You'll enjoy a quick stop for beverages, snacks, and toilet use during the 2 to 2.5-hour drive.

9:00 AM: You'll arrive at Pilanesberg and depart on a 3-hour morning game drive in our superior open vehicles, fully operated by MoAfrika Tours and led by top-tier rangers headhunted for their expertise. Our radio-linked communication ensures prime wildlife sightings, such as the Big Five!

Noon: You'll arrive at Tlou Tented Safari Camp (approximately 4 km from the park gate) for a delicious lunch and check-in. You can unwind, enjoy the campfire, or explore the surroundings.

4:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Join an open-vehicle sunset game drive, conducted by MoAfrika Tours in superior open vehicles, chasing golden sunsets and wildlife magic in vehicles better than those of most lodges. You'll return for a mouth-watering African dinner at the camp.

Morning Safari & Departure to Johannesburg

Early Morning: You'll rise early for an exhilarating 3-hour morning game drive, fully operated by MoAfrika Tours in superior open vehicles, guided by our elite rangers and enhanced by radio contact for real-time animal tracking. You'll return around 9:00 AM for a hearty breakfast.

Morning: You'll spend time relaxing at Tlou Tented Safari Camp, soaking in the natural ambiance, or opting for a short ranger-led walk (subject to availability).

12:00 PM: Join a short game drive in a closed vehicle, conducted by MoAfrika Tours, for more wildlife thrills, or choose to relax at the camp (pickup at 2:30 PM if skipping the drive).

3:00 PM: You'll depart Pilanesberg in a MoAfrika Tours vehicle, with a quick comfort stop for beverages, snacks, and toilet use during the 2 to 2.5-hour drive back to Johannesburg, arriving between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
