Your driver-guide from Kimed Ecotours will welcome you at the airport with a notice bearing your name or pick you up at the hotel. You'll then embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You'll pass via the Equator monument, dividing the world into 2. You'll then proceed with your journey after having lunch. Arrive in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2

On this day, you'll wake up early in the morning for breakfast. You'll then head to the park for the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules. After the briefing, you'll divide into groups of 8 to find a group of gorillas each. The time it takes to find the gorillas ranges from 30 minutes to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas' movements in the forest. After heading to the forest and finding the gorillas, you'll spend an hour in their presence, have your packed lunch, and then head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

On this day, you'll wake up, have breakfast, and pack your bags. You'll then embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the most popular and visited park in Uganda. You'll pass through the Ishasha sector for chances of seeing tree-climbing lions, a behavior that is rare among these dominant carnivores. You'll then after proceed to the katunguru, check -n at the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 4

Morning game drive, afternoon boat cruise on kazinga channel and transfer to kibale National ParkP

On this day, you will head back to the plains of Kasenyi for yet another morning game drive to try and find what you could have missed during the previous game drive, and these may include lions, leopards, waterbucks, Impalas, and many others.. You'll go for lunch at the lodge.
After lunch, you will head to the jetty along the Kazinga Channel for the afternoon boat cruise. This cruise offers you chances to view animals like hippos, and the highest concentration of hippos in the world is found here. You'll also see elephants, buffalo, crocodiles waiting for prey, and many species of water birds. After, you'll embark on a journey to Kibale National Park, arriving in the evening for relaxation and dinner.

Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park and Bigodi Swamp Walk

On this day, you'll wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. You'll then head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking. You'll then head to the forest in search of a chimpanzee community and spend an hour in their presence after finding them, taking pictures, and monitoring their behavior. You'll then return to the starting point and head to the lodge for simple relaxation. You'll then head to the Bigodi swamp for a swamp walk. You'll see several primate and bird species in the swamp, as well as learning the role played by the local communities in the conservation of natural resources.

On this day, you'll pack your bags after breakfast. You'll then embark on a 6-7 hour journey to Entebbe, having lunch en route. Your driver guide will drop you off at the airport and say goodbye. This will mark the end of your 6-day Uganda Primates and wildlife safari.
