Day 1

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by our driver guide who will brief you about your day’s safari. The journey goes through Masaka district, and several stopovers are granted, the major one at the Uganda equator for photography and viewing, another one at Igongo Cultural Centre for the visit to the Ankole Kigezi museum, and lunch. Then proceed with your journey to Mgahinga National Park, the smallest national park in the country but full of interesting wildlife, such as the golden monkeys and mountain gorillas. On arrival after a long journey, you will check in at the safari lodge for your accommodation.

Day 2
Gorilla trekking
Gorilla trekking
Start your day early with a hearty breakfast. Pack your lunch afterward, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the trek. You’ll be grouped with other trekkers, assigned to a specific gorilla family, and led by a professional ranger guide. Trek through the lush forest and rugged terrain as you search for the mountain gorillas. The trek could last anywhere from 2 to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. Once you find the gorilla family, you’ll be allowed one hour to observe and photograph these magnificent creatures in their natural environment. Watch them as they play, eat, and interact with each other an unforgettable and humbling experience. You will transfer back to the lodge relax and later have dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Golden monkey trekking and transfer to lake mburo national park
After an early breakfast, get ready for a thrilling experience of golden monkey trekking. This endangered species lives in the bamboo forests of Mgahinga, and you will embark on a hike through the forest with experienced guides and park rangers. Before starting the trek, there will be a briefing on what to expect and how to interact with the monkeys. Set off on the trek, winding through lush forest and bamboo groves in search of the golden monkeys. The trek may take a few hours, depending on the monkeys' location. Once found, you’ll have an hour to observe these charming creatures in their natural habitat as they jump from tree to tree, feeding and playing.
After your trek, return to your lodge have lunch check out and transfer to Lake Mburo national park, upon arrival at Lake Mburo National Park, check into your accommodation and take a break to unwind.

Day 4
Game drive and transfer to kampala
Game drive and transfer to kampala
Wake up early and have breakfast then proceed for an exciting game drive around the park. Lake Mburo is famous for its herds of zebras, buffaloes, and impalas, and offers a great chance to spot giraffes, elands, and a variety of birds, including the endangered shoebill stork. The park's open savannah and dense acacia forests provide an excellent opportunity for wildlife viewing. After the game drive have lunch and Check out of your lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala.
