Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide. After a brief introduction, you’ll transfer to your hotel in Arusha, a charming town surrounded by coffee plantations and with views of Mount Meru. Spend the rest of the day resting after your journey or exploring the lively local culture and markets, depending on your arrival time. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2

Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park

After breakfast, depart for a full day at Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and diverse parks. Explore a mix of lush forests, open savannah, and lakes, all set against the backdrop of Mount Meru. Enjoy game drives and, if you wish, a guided walking safari where you can spot giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and a variety of primates, including the black-and-white colobus monkeys. The park’s scenery ranges from the misty forests to the crater lakes filled with flamingos. Return to Arusha for overnight.

Today, head out early towards Tarangire National Park, a destination famous for its vast elephant herds and impressive baobab trees. The Tarangire River, the park’s main water source, attracts a large number of animals, especially during the dry season. Enjoy a thrilling game drive searching for lions, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and many species of birds. The changing landscapes of rolling hills and river valleys make this a photographer’s paradise. After a full day of wildlife viewing, continue towards Karatu for your overnight stay.
