You’ll be picked up early in the morning and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Located south of Lake Bogoria, right on the equator, Lake Nakuru is one of the most famous lakes in the Great Rift Valley. The lake is known worldwide for its large flocks of flamingos that turn the shoreline a vibrant pink. It’s also a designated rhino sanctuary, home to over 40 black rhinos and more than 60 white rhinos.
You’ll arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge or campsite.

Day 2
Masai Mara National Reserve

You’ll set off early for a drive to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve. This world-renowned reserve remains one of the last places where wildlife thrives in large numbers, much like it did centuries ago. As the northern extension of the greater Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is famous for the dramatic seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and the predators that follow them. You’ll arrive in time for lunch, followed by an exciting afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, you’ll head out for a full-day game drive in Masai Mara with a packed lunch. The reserve is famous for its black-maned lions and diverse resident wildlife, offering one of the best chances to spot all of the Big Five in a single game drive. Cheetahs here are often remarkably relaxed around vehicles—some may even use them for shade or vantage points. Bird lovers will also be thrilled, as the reserve boasts nearly 500 bird species, including eagles, vultures, storks, bustards, and colorful sunbirds.

Today, you'll travel from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park via the Isebania border—a full-day journey that includes game drives on both sides. Enjoy a morning safari in Masai Mara and an afternoon game drive as you enter the Serengeti. You'll arrive at your tented camp in time for dinner and overnight rest.

The legendary Serengeti National Park is world-famous for the Great Migration. As you enter from the crater highlands, the landscape opens into the vast plains that give Serengeti its name—meaning "endless plains" in Kiswahili. Spanning 18,000 sq km (6,900 sq miles), the park is home to over two million large animals, including wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and a variety of predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Smaller wildlife and nearly 500 bird species also thrive here. On your second day, you'll enjoy a full day of game drives—morning and afternoon—exploring this iconic wilderness.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, the best time to catch wildlife in action and enjoy a stunning African sunrise. After the safari, return to camp for brunch before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater, with its 2,000-foot-high walls and 102-square-mile floor, is a natural sanctuary for nearly every species of East African wildlife—including the rare black rhino. This incredible ecosystem also hosts massive bull elephants with unusually large tusks, thanks to the mineral-rich volcanic soil.

Early in the morning, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of wildlife viewing in one of the world’s most remarkable natural wonders. Enjoy a picnic lunch by Hippo Lake, followed by more game viewing in the afternoon. Later, drive up and out of the crater and transfer to Manyara for an overnight stay. Alternatively, you can visit Tarangire instead—especially recommended between June and September for optimal wildlife sightings.

In the afternoon, you'll transfer for your flight to Zanzibar at around 4 PM, where you’ll enjoy three days of relaxation on the island.
