Day 1

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by our driver guide who will brief you about your day’s safari. The journey goes through Masaka district, and several stopovers are granted, the major one at the Uganda equator for photography and viewing, another one at Igongo Cultural Centre for the visit to the Ankole Kigezi museum, and lunch. Then proceed with your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On arrival after a long journey, you will check in at the safari lodge for your accommodation.

Day 2
Gorilla trekking and transfer to mgahinga national park
Gorilla trekking and transfer to mgahinga national park
Get up early morning and have breakfast at your lodge. Transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing. Begin the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in the dense forest of Bwindi. Trek through the forest to find a family of mountain gorillas. Spend one hour with them once located, return to the briefing point where you will be awarded a trekking certificate from Uganda Wildlife Authority. Return to the lodge for lunch and after check out of your lodge and embark on the drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. The route will take you through beautiful scenic views of the Virunga Mountains, with the possibility to stop for photos and to stretch. Check in the lodge. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3
Gorilla trekking
Gorilla trekking
Wake up early to have breakfast before your trek. Depart to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park headquarters. Your guide will take you to the park headquarters for briefing. Here, you'll meet your trekking group, park rangers, and guides You’ll also be assigned to a gorilla family based on your fitness level and experience then embark on your gorilla trekking adventure with your group and ranger. The trek will vary in duration depending on where the gorillas are located. Expect the trek to take between 3-8 hours. The hike may involve some challenging terrain, but it will be well worth it when you meet the gorillas in their natural habitat. Once you locate the gorilla family, you'll spend an hour observing them. Capture photos and enjoy the extraordinary experience of being close to these magnificent creatures.
After completing the trek, head back to your lodge to enjoy a well-deserved lunch. Relax, and end your day with a peaceful dinner.

Day 4
Golden monkey trekking, batwa community visit and transfer to lake mutanda
Golden monkey trekking, batwa community visit and transfer to lake mutanda
After breakfast, head out for an exciting golden monkey trek. Head to the park headquarters, for the briefing session. You’ll meet your guide, fellow trekkers, and park rangers. After the briefing, you’ll set off with your group and rangers for the trek. The trek could take anywhere from 1 to 3hours, depending on where the golden monkeys are located. Once you locate the golden monkeys, you will spend up to one hour observing them.
After the trek, head back to the lodge for lunch head out for the batwa cultural visit Mgahinga National Park offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich traditions of the Batwa people, one of Africa’s most ancient indigenous communities. The experience begins with a warm welcome from the Batwa, followed by a guided tour of a traditional Batwa village where you’ll learn about their lifestyle, forest-based skills, and deep connection with nature. After head back to the lodge check out and later transfer to Lake Mutanda.

Day 5
Boat cruise and return to kampala
Boat cruise and return to kampala
Enjoy delicious breakfast before heading to the Lake for a scenic 2-hour boat excursion. During this trip, you'll have the chance to spot a variety of bird species and take in breathtaking views of the Volcanoes mountain ranges. After the boat ride, check out of your lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala, stopping for lunch along the way. You will arrive in Kampala and be dropped off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.
