Day 1

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by our driver guide who will brief you about your day’s safari. The journey goes through Masaka district, and several stopovers are granted, the major one at the Uganda equator for photography and viewing, another one at Igongo Cultural Centre for the visit to the Ankole Kigezi museum, and lunch. Then proceed with your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On arrival after a long journey, you will check in at the safari lodge for your accommodation.

Day 2

After breakfast, head to the Gorilla Trekking Briefing Center Enjoy an orientation session from the rangers before setting off on your gorilla trekking adventure. Trek through the dense forest in search of one of the mountain gorilla families. This may take anywhere from 3 to 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Return to the briefing point where you will be awarded a trekking certificate from Uganda Wildlife Authority.
Return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon at leisure to relax and reflect on your experience.

Day 3

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on the drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. On reaching, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the trek. You’ll be grouped with other trekkers, assigned to a specific gorilla family, and led by a professional ranger guide. Trek through the lush forest and rugged terrain as you search for the mountain gorillas. The trek could last anywhere from 2 to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. Once you find the gorilla family, you’ll be allowed one hour to observe and photograph these magnificent creatures in their natural environment. Watch them as they play, eat, and interact with each other an unforgettable and humbling experience. You will transfer back to the lodge relax and later have dinner and overnight.

Begin your day early with a delightful breakfast. Afterward, make your way to the park offices for a comprehensive briefing session. This crucial exercise typically takes around 30 minutes, where you will receive essential instructions designed to ensure the success and safety of your trek. Once the briefing is complete, your thrilling trek commences with the guidance of an armed park ranger, ensuring your safety and providing expert insights into the park’s ecosystems. The trek usually lasts about 3 hours, as you trek the dense bamboo forests, keeping a vigilant eye out for the elusive golden monkeys. After the trek, head back to the lodge for lunch head out for the batwa cultural, where you’ll learn about their lifestyle, forest-based skills, and deep connection with nature. A walk through the forest demonstrates traditional hunting, gathering, and medicinal plant knowledge. Afternoon at leisure to relax and reflect on your experience. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is known for its beautiful islands and crystal clear waters. Have lunch and prepare for the Lake exploration
Take a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi, exploring its picturesque islands and hearing the local legends associated with each one. Visit Akampene Island, known as the "Punishment Island," and learn about its historical significance.
Enjoy a tranquil sunset by the lake and dinner at your lodge.
