Depart Antananarivo after breakfast and fly to Fort-Dauphin, where your southern adventure begins. Meet your guide and embark on a scenic 4x4 drive through surreal spiny forests to the legendary Berenty Reserve. After checking out, begin your scenic 4x4 journey back to Fort-Dauphin, winding through dramatic desert-like landscapes dotted with baobabs and traditional villages. Enjoy unhurried stops along the way to stretch, take photos, or chat with locals as you leave this remote wilderness behind.
At Fort-Dauphin Airport, board your return flight to Antananarivo. Upon landing in the capital, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax or explore. Dinner is not included, but the city boasts excellent options ranging from fine dining to authentic Malagasy eateries.
