Pick-up from your hotel is at 06:30; please arrange a packed breakfast in advance. The drive to Hwange passes through charming rural villages dotted with traditional huts, schools, hospitals, and churches. Along the way, you’ll pass the Hwange Colliery, one of Africa’s largest coal producers.
On arrival, transfer to a 4×4 game drive vehicle and begin a full-day safari led by an experienced guide. Explore diverse terrain and encounter abundant wildlife, with stops at well-placed hides offering superb viewing opportunities. Lunch will be served at a scenic picnic site inside the park before the adventure continues into the afternoon.
As the day cools, animals gather around the waterholes, providing prime game-viewing moments until sunset. Afterward, retire to Hwange Safari Lodge, located just outside the park, for a relaxing overnight stay.

Around 10:00 a.m., you will be collected from Hwange Safari Lodge and transferred by road to Kasane, Botswana. This scenic journey of approximately three hours passes through rural landscapes, with your guides assisting you at the border to ensure a smooth crossing.
Upon arrival in Kasane, check in at your lodge and take some time to relax. Later in the afternoon, you’ll be collected for a 3-hour safari boat cruise on the renowned Chobe River, one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich waterways. From the comfort of your boat, enjoy spectacular sightings of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and an incredible variety of birdlife gathering along the riverbanks—an unforgettable way to close your day.

Home to approximately 2,500–3,000 residents across 25 small villages—primarily Subia (Namibia) and Tswana (Botswana) communities—Impalila offers a warm window into daily life along the rivers. Over the next three hours, you’ll meet local residents, learn about traditions and crafts, and gain insight into customs that have shaped this riverine culture for generations.
