Start your journey with a guided hike on the lower slopes of Mount Meru, located inside Arusha National Park. As you walk through dense montane forest, you’ll spot monkeys, antelopes, and a variety of birds. The trail also offers fantastic views of waterfalls, the crater rim, and even Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Marangu Gate Hike

Today you head to the eastern side of Mount Kilimanjaro for a day hike along the Marangu Route. This route is known for its well-maintained trail and scenic beauty. Your hike begins at Marangu Gate (about 1,800m above sea level) and takes you through lush rainforest up to Mandara Hut (2,700m). Along the way, enjoy sightings of unique flora, birdlife, and possibly colobus monkeys. After resting at the hut, descend back and return to your lodge. It’s a rewarding way to experience Africa’s highest mountain without climbing to the summit.

Ngorongoro Crater – A Day of Classic Safari

The dramatic scenery and high concentration of wildlife make this a perfect final chapter to your Tanzanian adventure.
