Day 1

On this day, you'll be picked up by your driver from Kimed Ecotours from either the hotel or the airport. Then, you'll go on a Kigali City tour. You'll visit Kimironko market, which will give you insight into Rwanda's foodstuffs, art, and crafts. You'll also visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial site, which was built to commemorate the people who lost their lives during the 1994 Genocide. After, you'll start a journey to Nyungwe National Park, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy walk
Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy walk
You'll wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. Then, with your packed lunch, you'll head to the park headquarters at Gisakura for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking. Then, you'll head to the forest in search of the chimpanzees and spend an hour in their presence after finding them. You'll watch them play, nurse their young, feed, or other ways of their life. After an hour, you'll have your packed lunch and return to the starting point. You'll rest for a while, after which you'll head to the start of the Igishigishigi trail for a canopy walk. The canopy walk way is a 200m suspended bridge that allows you to see forest canopies, birds, and helps you test your adrenaline. You'll then return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Transfer back to Kigali to end the tour
Transfer back to Kigali to end the tour
On this day, you'll wake up at ease and have breakfast, Then, you'll pack your bags, board your vehicle, and say goodbye to Nyungwe National Park. You'll then embark on a journey back to Kigali. You'll be dropped off either at the hotel or at the airport, depending on your preference. Your driver-guide will say goodbye, and this will mark the end of the 3-Day Nyungwe national Park safari.
