Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Cultural Discovery

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater is home to an incredible density of wildlife, including the rare and endangered black rhino, massive buffaloes, and prides of lions. With its lush grasslands, acacia forests, and soda lakes, the crater offers a miniature ecosystem unlike any other. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool before ascending the crater walls.

In the afternoon, return to Fig tree lodge and experience a cultural walking tour in Mto wa Mbu, a melting pot of Tanzanian tribes. Discover banana plantations, sample local foods, and meet friendly villagers.
