Arusha to Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Tour

Your day begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Materuni Village, located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a short but invigorating hike through coffee and banana plantations, guided by a local expert who will share insights into the flora and Chagga traditions.

After about 1 hour and 40 minutes, you'll reach the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls, where you can enjoy the refreshing waters and breathtaking views. Next, you'll savor a traditional Chagga lunch, including banana stew, ugali, and nyama choma, along with the unique banana beer. In the afternoon, you'll take part in a coffee tour, learning the entire process from cultivation to roasting. You'll even brew your own cup of freshly made coffee before your guide takes you to the airport, and you will fly to Zanzibar via Kilimanjaro International Airport, carrying with you cherished memories of Tanzania's wilderness and wildlife.
